Student Instructions for the Remote Learning

UPDATED AS OF 3/24/2020

Prep Charter students are not to report back to school until April 9th. This is subject to change, so please continue to monitor our social media and website.

  • Until further notice, you will be working on Google Classroom in order to complete your daily assignments. 
  • Google Hangouts has been turned on. Students must log in with their Prep email address and password. 
  • You will begin each day by logging on to your Advisory Google Classroom and completing the Attendance Question each morning by 8:15 AM. You should have received an invitation in your Gmail from your advisory teacher. If you have not received this invitation, please reach out and notify your advisory teacher by email. If you do not log in and submit your name by 8:15 AM, you will be marked absent. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. 
  • Your teachers will post daily assignments in their individual classrooms that you are expected to complete by 8:00 PM every evening. Any assignments not submitted by 8:00 PM may be subject to a point deduction. 
  • In order to communicate with your teachers, your teachers will be available in Google Hangout during your regularly scheduled meeting time. You may also email your teachers for support at any time during the school day (8:00 AM to 2:45 PM).
  • Although you are working from home, you are still expected to complete (7) class periods of work each day. Make sure that you remain in close contact with your teachers in order to receive clarification and support with all of your assignments. 
  • If you are not able to log on for a day due to illness, you must email a parent note or a doctor’s note to Ms. Fiorelli ( in order to receive an excused absence. 
  • Career Development students and teachers will follow their usual schedule. Students will log in and complete the daily attendance question, which must be completed by 8:45 AM to receive credit for attendance. Career Development students will then complete any posted work.

Attention students,

Use the form below if you need to have your Google or Powerschool password reset or if you need help with Google Classroom or Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Hangouts).  Students must be available via Google Hangouts in order for tech support to troubleshoot any issues.
