Chromebook Loaner Fee
$100.00
- The Chromebook and its components are the property of Prep Charter High School and must be returned at the end of senior year, if a student leaves or is dropped from role, or if the student elects to withdraw from the Chromebook Loan Program.
- A $100 fee is required to participate in the Chromebook Loan Program. The fee will be used to cover any damages to the Chromebook or components. The $100 fee will be refunded if one of the following conditions is met:
- At the end of senior year when the Chromebook and components are returned to Prep with no damages.
- If the student transfers, is dropped from role, or graduates from Prep Charter and the Chromebook and components are returned to Prep Charter free of damage.
- If the student obtains a personal device (PC, Mac, or Chromebook) during the loan period, the Chromebook should be returned. If the device and its components are free of damage, the $100 fee will be refunded to the family. Tablets are not considered an adequate replacement.
- If the family wishes to terminate this agreement for any other reason and the Chromebook and components are returned free of damage.
