The Chromebook and its components are the property of Prep Charter High School and must be returned at the end of senior year, if a student leaves or is dropped from role, or if the student elects to withdraw from the Chromebook Loan Program.
A $100 fee is required to participate in the Chromebook Loan Program. The fee will be used to cover any damages to the Chromebook or components. The $100 fee will be refunded if one of the following conditions is met:
At the end of senior year when the Chromebook and components are returned to Prep with no damages.
If the student transfers, is dropped from role, or graduates from Prep Charter and the Chromebook and components are returned to Prep Charter free of damage.
If the student obtains a personal device (PC, Mac, or Chromebook) during the loan period, the Chromebook should be returned. If the device and its components are free of damage, the $100 fee will be refunded to the family. Tablets are not considered an adequate replacement.
If the family wishes to terminate this agreement for any other reason and the Chromebook and components are returned free of damage.
