A warm hello! We understand there is a lot of concern regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and its impact on our community and Prep Charter High. At Prep, we are thoughtfully planning for any scenario should it come our way, ensuring the comfort and safety of our students, employees and families. Information on COVID can be found on our website: https://prepchs.org/health/ and the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. Rest assured that our academic leaders, teachers, and technology team are currently collaborating with our teachers on a remote learning plan for all grades. These plans will also prepare Prep Charter for future remote learning opportunities should the need arise.
A remote learning plan introduces a new level of instruction that will allow teachers to conduct class remotely in the event of an emergency. As we make plans at school, there are some important pieces of information that we require from families to determine if remote instruction is technically possible. Please click HERE to take a brief technology survey by Friday, March 13th.
As always, our goal is to support our students during their education at Prep Charter, which includes being prepared for the unforeseen. Hopefully, we will not have to use our remote learning plan, however, it is a procedure we need to identify and rehearse to be ready just in case.
I appreciate your cooperation. As always, please check the website for the most current information and directions.
